Hyderabad: A delegation of poultry industry leaders met Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to seek support in promoting the benefits of poultry products among consumers. The meeting, held under the leadership of Dr. G Ranjith Reddy, included representatives from various poultry associations such as:
- Telangana Poultry Federation (TPF) – K Mohan Reddy, V Bhasker Rao
- National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC) – G Chandrasekhar Reddy
- Telangana Poultry Breeders Association (TPBA) – G Ramesh Babu, D Ram Reddy, K G Anand Garu
- Poultry India – Uday Singh Bayas & Sanjeev Chintawar
The delegation emphasized the need to build public confidence in consuming chicken and eggs without fear, reassuring that poultry products are completely safe. They urged the government to take proactive steps in spreading awareness about the nutritional benefits of poultry consumption.
Responding positively, CM Revanth Reddy assured immediate action and directed officials to issue necessary orders to support the industry’s efforts.
This initiative is expected to benefit poultry farmers and businesses while reinforcing consumer trust in chicken and egg consumption across the state.
