Indian Poultry Alliance Acquires Kwality Animal Feeds for ₹300 Crore, Strengthening Market Leadership

The Indian Poultry Alliance (IPA), a subsidiary of the Allana Group, has made a significant move in the Indian poultry industry by acquiring Belgaum-based Kwality Animal Feeds Pvt Ltd for ₹300 crore. This strategic acquisition strengthens IPA’s market leadership and aligns with its vision to drive consolidation and growth in the poultry sector. Additionally, IPA has announced an investment of ₹200 crore in Kwality to further expand its operations.

Kwality Animal Feeds: A Legacy of Excellence

Founded in 1983, Kwality Animal Feeds is a fully integrated player with a diverse business portfolio, including feed mills, soya processing, breeding farms, hatcheries, broiler integration, and value-added poultry products. The company has a strong market presence, particularly in West and South India, making it a valuable addition to IPA’s expanding footprint.

The acquisition also brings IPA long-standing partnerships of Kwality with major food service providers and quick-service restaurants (QSRs). This move will enhance IPA’s supply chain efficiency, expand its market reach, and drive innovation in poultry and animal nutrition solutions.

A New Era of Growth and Innovation

Moiz Chunawalla, Managing Director of the Indian Poultry Alliance (Allana Group), emphasized the transformative impact of this acquisition:

“This acquisition further strengthens our poultry value chain, enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and market reach. As part of its broader expansion strategy, IPA plans to invest a whopping ₹2000 crore over the next three years. The investment aims to scale up to seven manufacturing units, integrate advanced technology, and strengthen cold chain logistics and distribution networks. Furthermore, this expansion will fuel IPA’s entry into key metropolitan markets and strengthen its export strategy, with three additional acquisitions planned for this year.
